Priory School, Lewes, East Sussex, mixed 11–16 comprehensive, seeks a dedicated and flexible Cover Supervisor. In the absence of a class teacher, the Cover Supervisor will supervise students in the school or department under the supervisory arrangements established by the school. An interest in education and the ability to deliver ideas and concepts to an audience of young people would be desirable. This is an ideal opportunity if you are looking to become a teacher in the future and want experience of a secondary education setting or are passionate about working in schools.
The actual salary is £17,641 to £18,494 per year for 30 hours a week, Monday to Friday. The position is term time only plus inset days (39 working weeks, 45.05 paid weeks per year). The salary is based on Single Status grade 4/5 scale points 9–13, £25,185–£26,403.
