Cover Supervisor - Leeds - £95-£110 per day

Reeson Education is supporting a large mainstream secondary school in Leeds that requires an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible.

The Role:

Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisors are responsible for managing groups of around 30 students independently and delivering set work to a high standard, answering student questions to the best of their ability.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be expected to:

  • Provide cover for registration
  • Deliver lessons with limited preparation time and at short notice when needed
  • Create a positive learning environment using the school's behaviour policies
  • Support students' self-esteem through positive interactions and encouragement
  • Assist with the development and implementation of SEN support plans
Person Specification:

Cover Supervisor

Requirements include:

  • A degree or aspiring teacher status
  • Experience managing distressed behaviours
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and stay calm
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills in English
