Job description

We are seeking a confident and professional Cover Supervisor to support the delivery of lessons during teachers' short-term absences, ensuring continuity in learning and maintaining high behaviour standards. You will join a vibrant Secondary Academy in Leeds, playing a key role in the education of students across Key Stage 3 & 4. Lessons will be pre-planned and cover various secondary subjects aligned with the National Curriculum.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting pupils at secondary level or possess strong knowledge of the KS 3/4 curriculum. This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Salary is negotiable based on experience, with earnings up to £100 per day.

The ideal applicant will have:

• GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
• Experience working with young people
• Ability to adapt to different abilities, key stages, subjects, and situations
• Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
• An enhanced DBS disclosure or willingness to obtain one through us
• The right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
