Job summary

Aspire People are currently looking for experienced Cover Supervisors to work across schools in Rochdale and the surrounding areas. We offer regular daily supply and short-term assignments in both mainstream and SEN settings.

The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, experience with SEN pupils and a UK degree. The role requires flexibility and the ability to commute across Rochdale and surrounding areas, with DBS Update Service being desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar school-based role.
• Experience working with SEN pupils - essential
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• A UK degree
• Previous experience working in mainstream secondary schools and/or SEN settings
• The ability to commute across Rochdale and surrounding areas
• Flexibility and availability for daily supply and short-term work
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable
• References covering the last 2 years

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-set work in line with school policies and schemes of work.
• Maintain and manage student behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Support across mainstream and SEN settings as required.
• Liaise with teaching staff and Aspire People consultant as needed.

We have opportunities available across mainstream secondary schools and SEN settings, with positions suitable for candidates looking for daily supply and short-term assignments.

We are looking for confident and reliable Cover Supervisors who have strong classroom management skills and can effectively manage behaviour while delivering pre-set work.
