Bricknell Primary School is seeking two experienced Cover Supervisors to join their team. This fixed-term role focuses on providing essential cover for teaching staff and fostering positive relationships within the school community. Ideal candidates will possess strong behavior management skills and a collaborative attitude, making a meaningful impact in students' education while working in a highly regarded school environment.
Bricknell Primary School is looking to appoint two experienced Cover Supervisors to start as soon as possible to provide cover across the school in the absence of teaching staff. This is a fixed term appointment for 1 year in the first instance. The candidate must have experience of working across the primary phase, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all stake holders. Our school requires the candidate to be flexible, creative and have a sound knowledge of behaviour management strategies, including responding at an early level of difficulty. The candidate will be required to work well in an established team, working reflectively on a daily basis to modify and adapt practice according to pupils’ needs. This would be a valuable opportunity for an ECT to gain experience teaching in an outstanding school environment.
Salary: Grade 6 Point 14 £28,264 - Point 19 £31,067 pro rata for 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday term time plus 5 additional training days (39 weeks per year).

• have experience of working in a range of year groups across the primary phase
• have high expectations of pupils achievement
• have a solid understanding and experience of working with children with SEND
• have successful experience undertaking classroom supervision
• possess good communication skills with pupils and staff alike
• be willing to undertake CPD
• be a team player with a positive outlook
• be driven by the needs of our pupils
• have an ability to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff and governors.
