Job summary

Hounsdown School is seeking a Cover Supervisor to ensure continuity of learning when teachers are absent, across all curriculum areas. The role is up to 32.5 hours weekly, 8.15am-3.15pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only (39 weeks). A firm but non-confrontational approach to discipline and excellent communication are essential. GCSEs in Maths and English required; graduates considered.

About this Role

Required to work up to 32.5 hours per week (8.15am-3.15pm Monday - Friday) or part time will be considered, term time only (39 weeks per year).

A firm but non-confrontational approach towards discipline is essential, as are excellent communication skills. Experience of working with young people is desirable, although full training will be provided. Applicants need to have a good general education and be educated to GCSE level C or equivalent in Maths and English. Graduates looking for future teaching careers will be considered.
