Are you confident, organised, and looking to gain valuable experience in education? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools in and around Hornsea. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff looking to step into a classroom-based role.

The Role:

  1. Delivering pre-set lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher
  2. Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
  3. Supporting pupils with their learning and keeping them on task
  4. Working across a range of subjects and year groups (Key Stage 3 and 4)
  5. Gaining valuable classroom experience with the support of school staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  1. Strong communication and classroom management skills
  2. A professional, flexible, and proactive approach
  3. Confidence working with young people aged 11-16
  4. Experience working in a school setting (desirable but not essential)
  5. A desire to pursue a career in education or gain further experience in schools
