Full-Time Cover Supervisor – Secondary School in Havant, Hampshire

Passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact in the lives of students?

If so, GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Havant, Hampshire. This exciting role offers a competitive daily rate between £95 to £130 (depending on experience) and is set to start ASAP. The school is willing to wait for the right candidate to complete their notice period. A permanent contract is available upon the successful completion of a probation period.

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor (CS):

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Ensure that students remain on task with the work set by the teacher.
• Manage classroom behavior in line with the school's policies.
• Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other supervisors to ensure a smooth running of the school day.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Requirements of the Cover Supervisor (CS):

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting students.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
