Cover Supervisor
Location: Hartlepool and the surrounding areas
Salary: £89 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible

Are you looking to gain classroom experience in secondary schools across Teesside?
Teaching Personnel are seeking confident, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors working across a range of secondary schools in the Teesside area.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. You won’t be expected to plan or mark work, but your ability to manage classroom behaviour and keep students on task is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise classes across Key Stages 3 and 4 during teacher absences
• Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged with the lesson
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Provide feedback to the regular teacher on student progress and behaviour

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with young people is desirable (e.g. sports coaching, tutoring, youth work)
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A calm, professional manner and positive attitude
• Ability to use initiative and remain flexible in a busy school environment
• A full UK driving licence is desirable but not essential
