Job description

Salary: £95-£110 per day

I am recruiting for multiple Teaching Assistants and Cover Supervisors for a Secondary School in Manchester to work with an immediate start!

Could this be the role for you?

GSL Education are working with a secondary school in Manchester. You will be supporting the children with their learning and development. You will also be expected to work with groups of children and occasionally on a one-to-one basis as and when required.

Working hours are 08:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday. We are looking for both part-time and full-time applicants.

Your role & responsibilities:

  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all children
  • Deliver 1-2-1 sessions if needed
  • Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs
  • Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate

Please note, candidates without a qualification but with extensive experience (paid or voluntary) with children or in a relevant setting are also welcome to apply!

  • Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
  • Two suitable references covering the last 2 years
  • Be able to display excellent verbal communication as well as the ability to actively listen.
