Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor to work in a Swansea area school. The role involves supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 and 4, with a focus on maths, English and an additional subject, and maintaining positive behaviour.

Candidates should have a Teaching Assistant qualification or higher, experience with young people, and safeguarding training. Right to work in the UK and DBS with update service or willingness to apply are required.

Prospero are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work within a school in the Swansea area. The strongest applicant will have confidence in Mathematics, English and a subject of their choice whilst also working well with secondary school aged pupils and providing good behaviour management.

• Hours - 8:30am-15:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
• Previous experience working with young people.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
• Provide two professional references.
