Job summary

A leading education recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Cover Supervisor for schools in Chester. The role involves maintaining classroom discipline, supervising students, and supporting their learning. Candidates should have prior experience in a secondary school and a qualification in education is desirable. An Enhanced DBS is required. This is a temporary position with a daily rate of £105 - £110.

Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Job Type: Temporary

Duration: Ongoing

Location: Chester

Salary: £105 - £110 per day

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 3:45pm

Core Education are currently working with schools in the Chester area, who have requirements for a Cover Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Taking attendance registers
• Maintaining classroom discipline
• Supervising students, ensuring the students remain engaged and focused on pre-prepared work
• Support learning and provide guidance and support to students

Qualifications and Experience

• Confident in tailoring lesson delivery to accommodate students
• Previous experience working within a secondary school setting as a Cover Supervisor
• Qualification within an Education is desirable
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• The successful Cover Supervisor will need an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.
