Job summary

GSL Education are seeking Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Hinckley and the surrounding areas. This role offers ongoing opportunities for graduates or aspiring teachers to gain valuable classroom experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lessons, supervise classes in the absence of the classroom teacher, and help maintain a positive learning environment. DBS update or willingness to apply is preferred; driving licence is advantageous for covering

Qualifications

• Hold a degree in a curriculum-based subject (or equivalent qualification).
• Be confident, reliable, and able to adapt quickly to different classroom settings.
• Have a genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their education.
• Possess excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ideally hold a UK driving licence, as schools are spread across the Hinckley area.
• Hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply and pay for one through GSL Education.
