We are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor in the Dover area who is passionate about being a teacher and assisting children in the school environment.

Cover Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring that students stay focused and follow pre-set lesson plans. Your primary duties include managing classroom behaviour, maintaining a calm learning environment, and offering support to students to keep them engaged in the lesson.

You will deliver lessons across various subjects, following the provided resources and guidelines. You'll need to monitor student progress, assist where necessary, and report back to teaching staff on student behaviour, engagement, and any issues that may arise during the lesson. In addition, you may be asked to support other school activities such as exam invigilation or assisting in non-teaching duties.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to manage classrooms independently. This role is perfect for someone who is flexible, organised, and passionate about supporting students in their education.
