Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Doncaster Salary: £460 – £650 per week (depending on experience and qualifications) Contract Type: Long-term / Temporary, Full-time / Part-time Start Date: Immediately

Would you enjoy taking the lead in a classroom and helping students stay focused on their learning? A welcoming secondary school in Doncaster is looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to support its pupils and keep lessons on track.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step in when teachers are absent, supervise classes and guide students through work prepared by teaching staff. You'll give clear instructions, encourage pupils to complete their tasks and manage behaviour to ensure everyone has the opportunity to learn. This position offers a chance to build your classroom experience, develop valuable skills and contribute to students' progress without being responsible for planning or delivering specialist subject lessons.

To work with GSL Education as a Cover Supervisor, you should:

• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.

Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including providing an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or completing an application for a new check.
