GSL Education is currently recruiting an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work in a supportive secondary school located in Crowle, starting in September 2025. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to students across various subjects
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour effectively
• Support students with their work and answer questions where appropriate
• Report any issues or achievements to the relevant teaching staff
• Ensure students remain focused and engaged throughout lessons

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people is desirable (e.g. youth work, mentoring, tutoring)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A calm, flexible, and confident approach
• An interest in education and student development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
