Job summary

The Thomas Lord Audley School is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to help maintain a calm, positive learning environment. You will supervise pupils during lessons, model high standards of conduct, and support inclusion and engagement across a range of activities.

This 32.5-hour, 39-week-per-year role combines reliability with a rewarding focus on student wellbeing and progression. We welcome experienced colleagues and those starting their careers who are committed to safeguarding and working

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in a school environment is desirable.
• Ability to promote inclusion and high standards of behaviour.
• Good communication skills with students, parents, and staff.

• The successful candidate will work 32.5 hours per week

• This is a 39-week-per-year role, which includes term time and non-pupil days

A Day in the Life:

You'll be responsible for bringing your passion and expertise to the following areas:

• Supervise pupils engaged in learning activities

• Act as a role model and set high expectations of conduct and behavior

• Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils within the classroom

What We're Looking For:

• GCSE Grade A to C or equivalent in English and Maths

• Being aware of and working with the School’s policies in relation to inclusion, safeguarding and physical contact with students

• Ability to negotiate effectively with adults and children
