Cover Supervisor – School in Chichester, West Sussex!

Passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact in the lives of students?

If so, GSL Education are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to work across schools in Chichester, West Sussex. This exciting role offers a competitive daily rate between £95 to £120 and is set to start ASAP.

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor (CS):

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
• Ensure that students remain on task with the work set by the teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.
• Provide support and guidance to students as needed.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other supervisors to ensure a smooth running of the school day.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Requirements of the Cover Supervisor (CS):

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting students.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
• Flexible work: you can pick and choose the days you wish to work.
