Overview

Are you looking to gain valuable experience in secondary schools? Do you have a passion for supporting young people and maintaining a positive learning environment?

We are currently recruiting Secondary Cover Supervisors to work on a daily supply basis across a range of schools in Chesterfield starting ASAP.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain on task
• Support the school's policies and procedures while creating a safe, engaging environment

Who this is for

• Graduates considering a career in teaching
• Experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants
• Individuals with a strong presence and confidence in classroom settings

Requirements

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
• A positive, flexible approach to working in different schools
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
