Academics Ltd is currently seeking dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our network of secondary schools in Chelmsford for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time role ideal for individuals with a strong interest in education, whether you're a recent graduate, aspiring teacher, or experienced classroom supervisor.



The Role:

  • Deliver pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the regular teacher.

  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment.

  • Support pupils in their learning and development.

  • Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding lesson outcomes and pupil engagement.



Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable.

  • Confident classroom presence with excellent communication skills.

  • Flexibility, resilience, and a positive attitude.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
