Job summary

Laurus Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support teaching across the school. You will provide high-quality classroom cover during teacher absence to keep students engaged and learning on track. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants a rewarding career in education.

The position is 37 hours per week, term-time only, primarily during school days. You may be required to work outside term-time if the contract specifies it.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent are required.
• Experience in a school environment would be advantageous.
• Ideally previous experience in a similar role.

This position is contracted on a 37 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so.

Job Purpose

Key Skills & Experience

• Sound educational background including GCSE’s in Maths and English (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Experience working in a school environment would be advantageous.
• Ideally possess prior experience within a similar role.
