Prospero Teaching is looking for Cover Supervisors and Cover Teachers to work with schools in the Cardiff area.

You will be working with a variety of schools, all with experienced and supportive Senior Leadership Teams, covering a range of subjects and classes on a full-time or ad hoc basis. This is a great opportunity for a Graduate or someone with experience in an educational environment.

We are currently working with mainstream secondary and primary schools, as well as SEN/Alternative Provisions for pupils aged between 10 and 16 with Education Health and Care Plans, including a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities such as Social, Emotional & Mental Health and Autistic Spectrum Condition.

  • Location – Cardiff
  • Type of work – Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Cover
  • Start date – ASAP
  • End date – Ongoing
  • Contract type – Temp
  • Pay rate – £120 – £150 a day
  • Hours – 8:30 am –

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • Degree (preferred but not essential)
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with young people
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (we can provide if needed)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child DBS certificate registered with the update service or willingness to obtain one
  • Two professional child-related references
