Connex Education is working with a secondary school in Caerphilly to recruit experienced cover supervisors or degree-qualified individuals who are passionate about starting a rewarding career in education. The school is seeking motivated individuals dedicated to supporting both teachers and pupils, ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience during staff absences.

About the school

Our partner school is an 11-18 comprehensive school and currently has 680 pupils. The school is situated in Ystrad Mynach but attracts students from a much wider catchment area of approximately 40 square miles.

As a cover supervisor, you will be working across KS3 and KS4 supporting the class teacher. You should be able to provide updates to the class teacher, highlight both positive and negative behaviours, while adhering to school policies and procedures. Building strong relationships with both pupils and staff will also be key to your role.
