I am seeking a reliable, confident, and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team of secondary school educators from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and eager to gain valuable classroom experience.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of education in the absence of teaching staff. You will deliver pre-prepared lessons to pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise whole classes during teacher absences

Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies

Support pupils in engaging with learning activities

Provide feedback on class activity to teaching staff

Ensure the classroom is left tidy and ready for the next lesson

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong classroom management abilities

A proactive and flexible approach to working across subjects and year groups

A degree or Level 3 qualification (desirable, but not essential)

An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
