Job summary

Choice Teachers in Bolton is recruiting a confident Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools on a flexible, day-to-day, short-term and long-term basis. You will deliver pre-set work and help maintain a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher.

Applicants should have experience with young people, strong communication skills, and a proactive, reliable attitude. Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Confidence to lead a classroom and manage behaviour effectively.
• Experience working with young people (school, youth work, coaching, care, etc.).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervising whole classes during teacher absences.
• Delivering lesson plans and resources provided by teaching staff.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Supporting students to remain focused and on task.
• Reporting back to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the class teacher. Your role will include:

• Supervising whole classes during teacher absences
