Elevate Supply is working with secondary schools across Birmingham to recruit a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor for supply roles.

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher

Manage behaviour and keep students engaged with the work set

Support students during lessons and provide clarification where needed

Report back on lesson outcomes and student behaviour to relevant staff

Maintain a calm and positive learning atmosphere in the classroom

Candidate Requirements:

Strong communication skills and confident classroom presence

Previous experience working with young people is desirable (e.g., schools, tutoring, mentoring, youth work)

Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to different classroom settings

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
