You'll play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive learning environment for students, ensuring their education continues seamlessly when their regular teacher is away.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and managing the classroom in the absence of the classroom teacher.
• Engaging students in the planned activities and supporting their successful completion of tasks.
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
• Providing feedback to teachers about the progress and behaviour of children during their lessons.
• Supporting students who may require additional support.

Requirements

• Right to work in the UK - this is essential
• Must provide 2 proven professional references - this is essential
• Possess or willing to obtain a DBS Certificate on the update service
• Previous experience in a classroom, either as a Cover Supervisor or as a Teaching Assistant!
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced educational environment.
