Job summary

An education recruitment agency in Aylesbury is seeking cover supervisors to take on responsibilities of absent full-time teachers. The role offers flexibility, valuable experience in UK schools, and the opportunity to support pupils' learning. Ideal candidates will have experience with secondary-aged pupils and possess a degree or previous supervisory experience. Starting as soon as possible on a full-time basis.

Overview

Cover Supervisors required in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire

Rate of pay: £120 per day - PAYE

Cover supervisors are essential unqualified cover teachers who are able to take the responsibility of the full-time class teacher if the full-time class teacher is absent.

Responsibilities
  • Cover a variety of subjects (lesson plans will be provided)
  • Start as soon as possible on a full-time basis
  • Work across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 in the Aylesbury area

Requirements

  • Possess a degree OR have previous experience as a cover teacher / cover supervisor
  • Demonstrate confident classroom management and behaviour strategies
  • Be available as soon as possible with a flexible approach to work
  • Be resilient, reliable and passionate about excelling in education with enthusiasm for inspiring pupils
  • DBS on update service is ideal; if not, an application can be issued
