Join Our Team as a Cover Supervisor!

Location: Aylesbury

Pay: £120 per day

Contract Type: Supply, Day-to-day cover, full time and part time contract starting ASAP/October or January 2026

Are you looking for a rewarding role in education? Do you have a passion for supporting students and helping them succeed? We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a wonderful team with a secondary school based in the Aylesbury area, Buckinghamshire.

What is a Cover Supervisor?
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting students in the absence of their regular teachers. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with young people and have strong communication and organisational skills. No formal teaching qualifications are required, though prior experience working with young people is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes and ensure students remain on task
  • Provide support to students to ensure positive learning experiences
  • Maintain classroom discipline and create a safe, productive environment
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as preparing resources when required
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff about student progress

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude towards student development and well-being
  • The ability to adapt to different classroom settings
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential)
  • A proactive approach and a willingness to take initiative
