We are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Alford and the surrounding area with daily classroom cover and student supervision. This is an ideal role for individuals with a passion for education and the ability to manage a classroom environment effectively.
Supervise whole classes during teacher absences
Ensure students remain on task with pre-set work
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Communicate effectively with teaching staff and senior leaders
Adapt to different subjects and classroom settings throughout the day
A Higher Level Education Certificate (or equivalent) is essential
Previous experience in a school or classroom setting is beneficial
Confident classroom presence and good behaviour management skills
Flexible, adaptable, and professional attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
