Job Opportunity: Cover Store Manager at Deichmann Shoes

Deichmann Shoes has an exciting opportunity for a Cover Store Manager to support our stores in Slough and surrounding areas, including Reading and Woking.

Position Details:

• Full-time, permanent role with a salary of £29,000 per annum.
• Must be fully flexible to work across the week and willing to travel within a defined geographical area.
• After training, you will provide managerial cover across multiple stores, with potential promotion to Store Manager upon successful completion.

Ideal Candidate: Our Cover Managers are high-potential managerial talents with previous supervisory or management experience in retail or similar sectors, eager to progress their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service.
2. Lead by example in promoting and upselling products.
3. Draft rotas aligned with payroll budgets.
4. Manage stock effectively.
5. Analyze sales figures and reports.
6. Ensure company standards in merchandising and administration are maintained.
7. Work towards targets and KPIs.
8. Assist in recruitment and team development.
