Job Description:

Purpose: Deichmann Shoes has an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a Cover Store Manager, supporting our store in Brighton and other stores in the surrounding area.

This role involves covering & supporting stores including Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings, Crawley, Horsham, and others within a reasonable commuting distance.

As a Cover Store Manager, you will be offered a salary of £30,500 per annum. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring full flexibility across the week.

After initial training, you will support multiple stores, gaining understanding of store operations and travel within a defined geographical area. Successful completion of training may lead to promotion to Store Manager.

Key activities include:

  • Motivating and coaching the team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Leading by example in promoting and upselling products.
  • Drafting rotas in line with payroll budgets.
  • Stock management.
  • Analyzing sales figures and reports.
  • Ensuring company standards are maintained (merchandising, administration).
  • Working to targets and KPIs.
  • Assisting with recruitment and team development.

  • Hands-on leader with retail or related industry experience.
