Purpose

Deichmann Shoes has an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a Cover Store Manager, supporting our store in Ilford and other stores in the surrounding area.

Stores you will cover include: Ilford, Eastham, Stratford, Walthamstow, Woolwich, Lewisham, and additional stores within a reasonable commuting distance.

Working as a Cover Store Manager, you will be offered a salary of £33,500 per annum.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You must be fully flexible to work across the week. Our ideal candidates are high potential managerial talents on a fast track to becoming Store Managers.

After initial training, you will support multiple stores, gaining a comprehensive understanding of store operations. Travel within a defined geographical area is required.

Upon completing training, there is potential for promotion to Store Manager.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Motivate and coach the team to deliver excellent customer service.
2. Lead by example in promoting and upselling products.
3. Draft rotas aligned with payroll budgets.
4. Manage stock effectively.
5. Analyze sales figures and reports.
6. Ensure company standards are maintained, including merchandising and administration.
7. Work towards targets and achieve KPIs.
8. Assist with recruitment and team development.
