Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and professional Relief Security Officer to provide vital cover during staff absences, including holidays and additional shifts. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors across hospital facilities.

This is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Safety: Maintain a secure environment for all individuals on hospital premises.
  • Respond to Incidents: Handle security issues and emergencies with professionalism and composure.
  • Conduct Patrols: Perform regular checks of buildings and grounds to prevent security breaches.
  • Monitor CCTV: Operate surveillance systems and manage the security control room.
  • Deter Crime: Prevent unauthorized access, vandalism, and other suspicious activity.
  • Support Visitors: Provide assistance and directions to patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Manage Conflict: Use de-escalation techniques to handle challenging situations.
  • Document Incidents: Accurately complete reports on incidents and actions taken.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with hospital personnel, law enforcement, and security teams.

Requirements
