About The Role
Working Days: Varied shifts Monday - Friday, with occasional weekend cover required.
Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service while ensuring safety and security? Join OCS as a Security Officer in the Courts and Tribunal System and be part of a team that values your dedication and professional growth. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, welcoming and guiding court users.
  • Monitoring premises and visitors via CCTV, x-ray machines, and conducting security checks such as hand-held metal detectors and bag searches.
  • Patrolling and securing access points, maintaining contact with the control room via radios.
  • Responding to panic alarms and security incidents, recording and reporting details.

Candidate Requirements

  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance.
  • SIA Licence and relevant security experience.
  • Strong customer service and people skills.
  • High diligence and work standards.
  • Effective communication skills.

Pay rate: £12.21/hour plus a £1/hour attendance allowance, subject to meeting attendance criteria.
Working pattern: Monday-Friday, with occasional weekends; hours vary by site.
