Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for Court Presentation Officers to support Thames Valley Police. The role is hybrid, requiring attendance at courts and HQ with some home-working; about 80% of time is spent in court and at the police station.

Salary £36,474 per year, 37 hours weekly, with potential Saturday shifts and a fixed-term contract to March 2027. A full UK driving licence is required and police vetting applies.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to present in court and to convey complex information clearly.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
• Experience in criminal justice matters and understanding of court procedures.

Responsibilities

• Present cases in court for low-level traffic offences and Domestic Violence Protection Notices.
• Manage daily court listings and ensure cases meet prosecution and evidential standards.
• Liaise with defendants, victims, CPS and external agencies at court; provide feedback and document outcomes.
