The successful candidate will work alongside the National Head of Department and the Cardiff Team Leader, supported by trainees and paralegals.
The firm is looking for an individual who can manage a caseload of Court of Protection files, including health and welfare disputes and appeals against the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards. Advocacy skills are essential, with confidence to represent clients and coordinate with counsel for complex cases.
Experience in both legal aid and privately funded matters is crucial, as is a commitment to delivering exceptional client care.
Requirements:
Desirable attributes include Legal Aid Supervisor Status under the Mental Health or Community Care civil contracts and Law Society Accredited Legal Representative status.
