Court of Protection Solicitor

Job title: Court of Protection Solicitor, Eastbourne

Salary: £40,000-£55,000

PQE Level: 2-5+ PQE

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full-time

Highly rated and regarded, our client seeks a junior-mid level Court of Protection lawyer to join their busy and friendly Elderly Care team. The caseload will include:

• Assisting elderly clients to manage their property & affairs where a deputy order is in place.
• Dealing with Court panel referrals, personal injury compensation trusts, and professional attorneyships.
• Drafting applications to the Court of Protection.
• Assisting with the purchase and adaptation of properties.
• Bank account and budgeting reviews.
• Liaising with the Court and the Office of the Public Guardian.
• Preparation of annual reports.
