Job description

Court of Protection Solicitor/Fee Earner | Norwich, Norfolk

You didn't choose law just to push paper. You chose it to make a difference.

In this role, you'll do exactly that. Standing beside vulnerable people when they need it most, helping to protect their rights, their dignity, and their future.

You'll be joining a warm, committed team led by a Legal 500-recognised lawyer, where empathy is just as valued as expertise. Whether it's working with clients directly, guiding families through complex decisions, or mentoring junior colleagues, your voice will matter here, and your work will mean something.

This isn't about volume. It's about value.

You'll be handling a broad range of Court of Protection and Attorneyship matters. Everything from capacity and deputyship to safeguarding issues and family liaison. And you won't be stuck behind a desk. You'll visit clients in their homes, care facilities, or hospitals, building real relationships and offering face-to-face support where it matters most.

Whether you're a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or experienced Paralegal, with at least two years' experience in this field and know what excellent client care looks like, this could be your next home.

What you'll need:

  • Solid experience in Court of Protection matters (Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Paralegal)
  • Empathy, emotional intelligence, and patience
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload
  • Confidence to work independently

What's on offer:

  • The chance to work side-by-side with a highly regarded leader in the field
  • A clear path for progression - your growth matters here
  • A culture that values compassion as much as competence
  • Competitive salary and benefits, plus flexibility and support to do your best work
