A teacher is sought to work part time creating two one-day professional development courses on subjects related to totalitarianism.

The Foundation for the History of Totalitarianism is seeking a history teacher to develop two one-day professional development (CPD) courses for secondary school teachers. The courses will provide material and information to enable teachers to teach lessons on two subjects related to totalitarianism. Provisionally, the subjects chosen are the Holodomor and the Wannsee Conference.

Role Responsibilities

• Design and deliver two one-day CPD training courses for secondary history teachers this autumn
• Work closely with Foundation staff on the content and delivery of the courses
• Ensure the courses provide content that is unique and interesting for teachers
• Create materials that enable teachers to teach these subjects
• A history teacher with a strong interest in the history of totalitarianism in the 20th century
• Confident in developing high-quality teaching resources and training materials
• Flexible, with the ability to work independently and in person at our London office
