Aramex in Slough (Poyle) seeks a logistics operations assistant to support courier import processes with emphasis on compliance, customer service, and shipment tracking. The role includes fixed early shifts from 05:00 to 13:30, six days a week, with Sundays included.

Sponsorship is not available for this role. Responsibilities include clearance of imports, handling customer queries, tracking inbound shipments, managing Freedom shipments, and resolving outstanding queues to ensure reliable

Qualifications

• Understanding of import clearances and courier imports.
• Strong customer service experience and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Descartes E-Customs and CNS required.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word for daily operations.
• Understanding of geographical locations and routing challenges.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance in the clearance of courier imports.
• Handle customer calls and respond to queries promptly.
• Track and trace inbound shipments to ensure visibility.
• Process Freedom shipments and resolve queues.
• Clear outstanding shipments and maintain service standards.
