Blue-Chip International Logistics Company in Aylesford is seeking Temporary Courier Drivers. You will deliver and collect shipments across your geographic route, handling up to 60 drops daily and representing the company with excellent customer service.

Role requires a full UK driving licence, strong route planning, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Temporary contract with paid overtime on weekends.

Courier Driver (Temporary)

Blue‑Chip International Logistics Company

Location: Panattoni Park, Aylesford, Kent

Pay Rate: £14.73 per hour

Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00, with Saturday work 07:30–16:00

Overtime: Time and a half for overtime and Saturday working

Contract: Temporary

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Temporary Couriers to join a well-established, blue‑chip international logistics company based at Panattoni Park, Aylesford.

As a Courier, you will be the face of the business, responsible for delivering and collecting shipments from customers across your designated geographical area.

This is much more than simply driving from one location to another. You will play an important role in representing the company, building positive customer relationships and ensuring every delivery and collection is completed safely, accurately and on time.

This is a busy, multi-drop position where you could be completing up to 60 deliveries per day, so good organisation, time management and a positive attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect parcels and shipments across your designated geographical route.
• Complete up to 60 drops per day, depending on your route.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Sort, organise and prioritise your daily workload to meet delivery deadlines.
• Scan shipments accurately and ensure all collections and deliveries are recorded correctly.
• Complete relevant paperwork and company documentation.
• Handle parcels of varying sizes and weights, following safe manual handling procedures.
• Check and collect any cash‑on‑delivery payments where applicable.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and ensure loads are secured correctly.
• Record working and driving hours accurately in line with regulations.
• Follow all relevant customs, import and export procedures.
• Report any customer concerns, potential business opportunities or service issues.
• Maintain a professional appearance, wearing the required uniform and identification at all times.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Full UK driving licence.
• A complete and verifiable 5‑year employment history.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good geographical knowledge and route‑planning abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload.
• Ability to think on your feet and resolve problems calmly under pressure.
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting and manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a positive can‑do attitude.
• A commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Desirable Experience

• Previous multi‑drop courier or delivery driving experience.
• Previous professional driving experience.
• Experience in a customer‑facing role.
• Knowledge of Dangerous Goods procedures.
• Previous courier experience is beneficial, but candidates with the right attitude, driving ability and customer service skills are encouraged to apply.

Working Hours & Pay

• £14.73 per hour.
• Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00.
• Saturday working, 07:30–16:00.
• Overtime and Saturday hours paid at time and a half.
• Temporary contract. Please note that Saturday working forms part of the role.
