Job summary

Dumfries and Galloway Council is seeking a part-time Courier to service internal mail across Stranraer, Newton Stewart and surrounding areas. The role requires a valid driving licence and ability to operate vans used for mail delivery.

The post is Band 2 with a salary in the 14k range, reflecting 20 hours per week across 52.14 weeks per year. Disclosure Scotland vetting is required prior to appointment.

Working on a part time basis for 20 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year.

To deliver Dumfries and Galloway Council's internal mail services.

To have experience in driving transit or smaller type vans. To deliver/uplift mail & various other items from Schools and Council premises throughout the Dumfries & Galloway area.

A current full driving licence entitlement is an essential requirement of the post.
