Job summary

GR Employment Ltd is recruiting a Courier Driver on behalf of Artemis Clarke Ltd in Inverness, Henderson Road. You will be responsible for daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from customers, delivering service with speed, passion and a can-do attitude.

You will scan shipments, meet deadlines and provide excellent customer service with a flexible approach to routes. The role offers weekly pay, a pension scheme and ongoing support from your dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Candidate must be at least 21 years old and have no more than 9 penalty points in the last 3 years.
• Security training will be provided when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect shipments daily to/from customers.
• Ensure time-definite deliveries and prompt collections.
• Scan shipments and meet warehouse deadlines.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and represent the company professionally.
• Be flexible to cover additional routes as needed.

Location: Inverness (Henderson Road)
Hourly rate: £14.73 per hour, with overtime after 45 hours at time and a half
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 10:15 to 18:45 with a 30-minute unpaid break
Contract: Temp to perm

About the Role

As a Courier Driver, you will be measured on customer satisfaction and the successful completion of time-definite deliveries and collections. As a frontline representative of the company, you are expected to carry out all tasks with a strong customer-focused approach.

You must demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills to effectively prioritise tasks and meet customer expectations. While you will be assigned a specific geographical route, flexibility is essential, as you may occasionally be required to cover alternative routes to support business needs.

You will also be responsible for scanning shipments and working quickly and efficiently to ensure warehouse deadlines are met. The role requires the ability to make sound decisions and perform effectively under pressure.
