Job summary

GBD FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited is looking for a Courier to join our team in Slough with a view to training as a 7.5t PUD driver. The role involves collecting and delivering packages on defined routes across postcode areas, with a 45-hour week and shift pattern 08:00–18:00, Monday to Friday.

You will represent FedEx to customers, ensure safe vehicle operation, and follow health and safety policies while developing driving skills and familiarity with the local geography.

Qualifications

• Be reliable team player with a customer-focused approach.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Hold a valid driving license for vehicle type assigned (2+ years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Represent FedEx in front of customers, courteously picking up and delivering packages.
• Drive vehicles on defined routes, ensuring on-time delivery and correct paperwork.
• Ensure vehicles are operated safely and legally, following FedEx policies.

Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of Couriers. This position is with a view to train to become a 7.5t PUD driver

Working Hours: 45 per week

Shift schedule: Mon -Friday 08:00 18:00. B Licence Courier

Salary: £36,153 PA. plus 6% geographical allowance. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm, and 10pm - 6am.

What you will be doing:

• Representing FedEx in front of our customers, courteously picking up and delivering their packages
• Driving vehicles in FedEx fleet on defined routes in various postcodes, making sure customers' packages get to the right place, on time
• Making sure vehicles are always operated safely and legally
• Following all FedEx Health and Safety and other company policies and procedures
