Job summary

FedEx is seeking a reliable courier in Slough to join our delivery team with a view to training as a 7.5t PUD driver. You will work 45 hours per week, Mon-Fri 08:00–18:00, with 6% geographical allowance and premiums for hours 7pm–10pm and 10pm–6am.

Represent FedEx to customers, pick up and deliver packages, and ensure routes are followed safely and legally. A valid driving licence and up to 2+ years of driving experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Holding a valid driving licence for the vehicle type is essential.
• Experience in commercial driving is an advantage.
• 2+ years of driving licence holding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent FedEx while collecting and delivering customer packages.
• Drive on defined routes to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure vehicles are operated safely and legally.
• Follow FedEx health, safety and company policies.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of Couriers. This position is with a view to train to become a 7.5t PUD driver

Working Hours: 45 per week

Shift schedule: Mon -Friday 08:00 18:00. B Licence Courier

Salary: £36,153 PA. plus 6% geographical allowance.Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm, and 10pm - 6am.

What you will be doing:

• Representing FedEx in front of our customers, courteously picking up and delivering their packages
• Driving vehicles in FedEx fleet on defined routes in various postcodes, making sure customers' packages get to the right place, on time
• Making sure vehicles are always operated safely and legally
• Following all FedEx Health and Safety and other company policies and procedures
