Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Courier to join the Poole team. You will be the face of FedEx, delivering parcels on time to customers and supporting our diverse, inclusive culture.

Working hours are 45 per week with a Monday–Friday shift 08:00–18:00, and a hourly rate of £15.01 plus evening and night premia. Responsibilities include collecting and delivering parcels, safeguarding cargo in transit, performing vehicle checks, and adhering to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Full valid class 2 licence with Driver CPC and Tachograph Card.
• Good customer service skills.
• Positive attitude with ability to work independently and flexibly.
• Solid understanding of driving rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Collection and delivery of parcels to customers.
• Security of the vehicle and cargo during transit.
• Multi-drop deliveries to multiple addresses.
• Complete procedural checks on the vehicle.

We are looking for Courier to join our team at Poole. Whether you are fresh from the test centre or have experience, we want to speak to you!

Your role

As a FedEx courier you are the face of the business, delivering parcels on time to our customers.

Working hours: 45.00 per week

Shift: Monday-Friday 08:00 - 18:00

Salary: £15.01 per hour. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm (£1.54 per hour) , and 10pm - 6am (£1.87 per hour).

What will you going to be doing?

• Collection and delivery of parcels and freight to our customers
• Security of the vehicle and freight while in your vehicle
• Multi drop deliveries
• Complete procedural checks on your vehicle
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations

What are we looking for?

• A full valid class 2 licence along with Driver CPC and Tacho Driver Card
• Someone with great customer service skills
• Great attitude with the ability to work independently and flexibly
• Good understanding of driving rules and regulations
