Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Country Controller for Turkey, based at the Chester, UK office, with travel to Turkey. You will lead the financial close, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with regional and global finance teams to support strategic business decisions.

This is a senior finance leadership role requiring international collaboration and integrity. You will work across statutory and regulatory frameworks, influence local business strategy, and report to Finance Directors

Qualifications

10+ years of experience, incl 5+ years in financial management leadership within global environment.
Professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA/CA/CPA) with Bachelor’s degree minimum.
Pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance.
Fluency in English is essential; Turkish adds impact.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end month-, quarter-, and year-end close for the market.
Ensure compliance, internal controls, and regulatory interactions for the market.
Drive strategic financial discussions and evaluate investment opportunities.
Represent BMS with boards, regulators, and global finance teams.
Coordinate with Tax COE, Statutory and Legal Entity COE, and Corporate Treasury.
