Job description

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for a Forklift Truck Driver with a valid B1 Counterbalance licence to work for a leading manufacturer based in Balborough. This is a long-term temp to perm position offering job security and career progression.

Job Responsibilities:
• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) safely and efficiently
• Load, unload and move stock across warehouse and production areas
• Support Goods In – receiving, checking and storing deliveries
• Support Dispatch – picking, preparing and staging customer orders
• Use scanners and basic IT systems for stock control
• Maintain high standards of health & safety and warehouse housekeeping

Requirements:
• Valid B1 Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (essential)
• Experience in warehouse, logistics, dispatch or goods in roles
• Ability to work accurately and follow processes
• Reliable, team-focused and committed to long-term work
• Must have own transport due to site location

Shift Pattern & Pay:
• 2 shifts: 6:00am – 6:00pm
• 2 shifts: 10:00am – 10:00pm
• 4 days off
• Pay rate: £13.62 per hour (temp to perm opportunity)
