Job summary

Pertemps Bond is recruiting experienced FLT Operators to support a flagship site in a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics environment. You will operate counterbalance forklifts with clamp attachments, moving materials between production areas, storage, and loading docks.

Candidates with expired or in-house licences are welcome. Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and reliability are essential for consistent shift work and timely inventory movements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an FLT / Forklift Operator.
• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Good understanding of industrial equipment.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Valid or expired FLT licence considered.
• Strong time-management and communication skills.
• Reliable, team-focused, and safety-driven approach.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading goods and deliveries.
• Operating counterbalance FLT trucks with clamp attachments.
• Transporting raw materials to production workstations.
• Identifying and reporting damages, shortages, and quality issues.
• Conducting routine vehicle and equipment checks.
• Recording inventory movements and producing activity logs.
• Ensuring compliance with site health & safety policies.
• Supporting a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
